A family-friendly 5K event
Grab your coworkers and your running shoes and join us for this family-friendly 5K event. Enjoy a children’s area, refreshments and prizes including a Travel Cup award for the fastest-running team.

This is the second year that the Run For The Springs 5K is being hosted at this location. The Baseline Road Trailhead features a paved multi-use trail situated on the edge of pine flatwoods.
Marion County is home to Silver Springs, one of the world’s largest and most famous artesian springs, along with Rainbow Springs and Silver Glen. Our natural springs, lakes and rivers make Marion County a beautifully unique place to live, work and play. Because we use this same water for drinking and other daily activities, we all play a role in keeping our water clean.
All proceeds from the Run For The Springs 5K are made available to Marion County residents in the form of septic maintenance reimbursement grants.
